Dear Happigivers

It has been some time since we wrote to update you, the HappiGiver about the work of the foundation.

We have had a busy 6 months in which we have grown from strength to strength.

During this time,

1Roped in Friends of The Foundation, who are gynecologists who assist with giving educational talks at our beneficiary schools

2 Developed a menstrual hygiene booklet that forms the basis of our discussions with the girls

3 We have secured funds to support 2000 young women at the Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences university, with the Happime sanitary pad monthly for at least one year from a generous donor who has opted to remain anonymous

4.We have continued to support the girls at Marhulane primary school in Tembisa

5.Adopted a new beneficiary school in Diepsloot for one year

6 Adopted Sedibeng Primary school in Tembisa.We participated in their parent’s day, where parents were workshopped on a wide range of issues including nutrition and health.

7 Partnered with corporates to bring the HappiMe pad to more schools.

8 Partnered with the Helping Hand Foundation in Eswatini to impact communities in that region, with great success.

9 Supported the Dineo Baloyi Foundation and assisted them to meet their goals of a quarterly pad drive in Hammanskraal.

10.Have partnered with a sponsor to deliver pads to a school in the Vhembe district in Venda every 6 weeks for an undefined period of time.
